Our founder, became fiercely committed to the plight of patients after being diagnosed with Stage 3C breast cancer at the age of 32.  As a healthy person all of her young life up to that point, she found it challenging to have to navigate through the chaos of choosing an ObGyn, a hospital, a lab, a radiology practice, a breast cancer surgeon, a reconstructive surgeon, an oncologist, a radiation oncologist, and a psychologist- all while dealing with a cancer diagnosis, 3 small children and a career- in a matter of weeks, from her diagnosis to the beginning of her cancer journey.  This was an overwhelming journey, and she had great friends and support to call on, but she has made it her passion to demistify the process to help lead patients to great medical care in our country.

Its not about the money in your wallet or the clothes on your back, its about taking your health into your own hands, and seeking out people and doctors who can help you find the care that you need.  I have had the pleasure of knowing people from all walks of life, who have achieved great medical treatment through perseverance and a positive attitude!
